Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Service Description
Piggo provides managed Minecraft server hosting on a subscription basis. You choose a billing period when you order - weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. We handle setup, maintenance, and support so you can focus on playing.
2. Account & Eligibility
You must be 16 or older to use this service, or have parental consent. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data we collect to:
- Provide and maintain your server, including setup, modpack installation, and technical support
- Process payments and issue invoices
- Respond to support requests via email, ticket, or live chat
- Monitor server performance and uptime
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse of the free trial, and security threats
- Meet legal and tax obligations under Dutch law
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Payments
All payments are processed via Stripe or PayPal. Subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period, at the price for your chosen plan and period. Prices are listed on our website at piggo.host.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are collected and stored by Stripe - we do not receive or store your full card number. We can see only the card type, the last four digits, and the expiry date.
PayPal payments at Piggo are one-off payments. We do not create PayPal subscriptions, so there is nothing left running on PayPal's side after you cancel with us.
5. Automatic Renewal
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it.
When you pay by card, your payment method is saved so that renewals can be taken without you having to do anything. This is stated on the payment page before you pay, and by completing your order you agree to it. We charge only the plan you ordered, at the price shown in your billing portal, on the renewal date.
You can remove your saved payment method at any time in your billing portal. Removing it stops all future automatic charges.
6. End of a Fixed-Term Plan
If you bought a 3, 6 or 12 month plan, that fixed term applies only to the first period.
After the first period your plan continues on a rolling basis, and you can cancel at any time with no more than one month's notice. We will not place you into a second fixed term without asking you again.
7. Notice Before We Charge You
We email you at least 3 days before each renewal charge. That email states the amount, the date we will charge it, and a direct link to cancel.
If we fail to send that notice, you may cancel and request a full refund of that renewal charge within 14 days of it being taken.
8. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with the following processors solely to operate the service:
- Stripe, Inc. - payment processing
- PayPal - payment processing
- Cloudflare, Inc. - DNS, CDN, and security protection (processes IP addresses and request data)
- Crisp - live chat support (processes messages and contact details you provide)
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity - website analytics
Each processor handles data under its own privacy policy and applicable data protection law. We do not share personal data with any other third parties except where legally required.
9. Refund Policy
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from your first payment in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. Where you have requested immediate activation of your server, we may deduct a proportional amount reflecting the service already provided before withdrawal.
Refund requests after 14 days are not eligible except where required by law. Refunds may be refused in cases of service abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
We will also refund you where we charged you in error, charged an amount other than the one you agreed to, or failed to send the notice required by clause 7.
Full details are set out in our Refund Policy at piggo.host/refund-policy. To request a refund, contact support@piggo.host.
10. Promotional Codes
A promotional code applies to the payment you use it on, unless the code says otherwise. Renewals are charged at the standard price of your plan. The renewal price is shown in your billing portal and in the notice under clause 7.
11. Price Changes
We may change our prices. If a change affects your plan, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then rather than pay the new price. Prices already paid for a fixed term do not change during that term.
12. Failed Payments
If a renewal charge fails we will email you and retry. If payment has not been received within 7 days of the due date, we may suspend your server. Your files are kept under clause 15.
13. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first - we will sort it out faster than your bank will. If you raise a chargeback without contacting us, we may suspend the service while the dispute is open.
14. Free Trial
We offer a limited-time Free Trial of our hosting service. The Free Trial is limited to one (1) per person and one (1) per household, regardless of the number of email addresses, accounts, IP addresses, or devices used.
A Free Trial does not convert into a paid plan automatically. We will not charge you at the end of a trial unless you have chosen a paid plan and agreed to the charge.
To prevent abuse of the Free Trial, we may use methods including, but not limited to: email address fingerprinting (including detection of disposable, temporary, or aliased email services), IP address tracking, device and hardware fingerprinting, and behavioural pattern analysis.
Attempting to circumvent these limitations - including creating multiple accounts, using VPNs or proxies to mask identity, using temporary or disposable email services, or any other means of obtaining additional Free Trials - constitutes abuse of our service.
In the event of detected abuse, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the Free Trial and any associated accounts without notice, ban the user, household, IP address, or device(s) from future access to Piggo services, and withhold refunds for any paid services associated with the abusive account, where permitted by applicable law (including, where applicable, EU consumer protection law).
We are not obligated to disclose the specific methods used to detect Free Trial abuse.
15. Acceptable Use
You may not use our services for illegal content, abuse, denial-of-service attacks, or cheating platforms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
16. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time, in either of these ways:
- In your billing portal - open your service, choose Cancellation Options, and select whether to cancel immediately or at the end of the current period.
- By emailing support@piggo.host from the address on your account.
Cancelling is not conditional on giving a reason, completing a call, or contacting us through any particular channel.
When you cancel, automatic renewal stops immediately and there are no further charges. If you cancel at the end of the period, your server keeps running until that date. If you cancel immediately, your server stops at once, and we do not refund the unused part of the period unless clause 9 applies.
To delete your account and personal data entirely, contact support@piggo.host.
17. Your Server Files After Cancellation
We keep your server files for 30 days after your service ends. During that time you can ask us to restore them, or send them to you as a download, at no charge.
After 30 days the files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
18. Data & Backups
Piggo performs regular backups as part of the managed service. However, we recommend maintaining your own copies of important world data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure or circumstances beyond our control.
19. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless an explicit SLA has been agreed upon in writing.
20. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 3 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including loss of game data, progress, or third-party service outages.
21. VAT
Prices shown on our website may or may not include VAT depending on your location and customer status. Dutch VAT (BTW) applies where required by law.
22. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government actions, or infrastructure outages.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled under Dutch jurisdiction.
24. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active clients of significant changes.
